Sugar & Sunshine Bakeshop Terms of Service
The initial deposit reserves the event date and is non-refundable if order is canceled within two (2) weeks of the event. Sugar & Sunshine is not responsible for canceled or rescheduled events and reserves the right to not refund a deposit. You will receive an initial email with the details of the order, including day, number of cookies and theme/design. If you would like to move forward, an invoice will be sent for the deposit. The processing company is Stripe and and this must be paid to secure your order. If the deposit is not paid, the order is not placed and the date is not saved until payment is received. Deposit is 50% of order total, including delivery if applicable.
Each order is unique and will have a mockup of the designs proposed for your order. Once deposit has been paid, an email containing the details of your order as well as a digital rendering of the design proposed will be sent to you. Any changes should be discussed immediately to make adjustments to number of cookies per design, colors or details. Design must have written approval (via response to email) no later than fourteen (14) days prior to event date as to ensure time to order custom items to complete order. Failure to do so may result in order being processed as proposed by Sugar & Sunshine.
Final payment of balance is due four (4) days prior to the event. If the balance is not paid in full, the order will not be started until it is paid. Sugar & Sunshine accepts debit/credit cards. The processing company is Stripe and an email containing the invoice, final confirmation of order details, and link to pay will be sent to you. The date of the final payment is the final date for any changes. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
Sugar & Sunshine is not responsible for damage to product once it has been picked up or delivered. Please handle carefully! The customer is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the order.
Cookies should NOT be refrigerated. Doing so will cause them to become tough and allow condensation to form inside the package. Do not leave outside in direct sunlight or in a vehicle where temperatures can become high. Doing so will cause condensation to form inside the package. While cookies can be stored on the counter, and remain fresh for up to 2 weeks in their unopened packages, cookies MAY be frozen if desired. Please ask for directions on how to properly freeze and thaw your cookies to maintain their taste, texture and design.
All products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. The customer agrees to notify their guests of this risk and hold harmless for allergic reactions. Sugar & Sunshine does not work in an allergy free environment. The customer agrees to inform Sugar & Sunshine of any allergies PRIOR to placing order so that accommodations can be made to safely serve your guests.
Trademarks prevent using designs, characters and logos without a license for them. Should a customer want these trademarked characters, Sugar & Sunshine will work with customer to create a design inspired by these brands or other bakers creations. Please ask for clarification if you have questions.
Delivery area is limited, but Sugar & Sunshine will make every effort to deliver. It is the customer's responsibility to discuss delivery location prior to accepting these terms and conditions to ensure that they are within the delivery area. Delivery is $25. Delivery will not be made directly to residence. Delivery will be made to event venue or location close home. Pickup is free.
Location of pickup is 9571 Black Walnut Drive Groveland, FL 34736. This is the pool cabana at the entrance of Arborwood subdivision.
